Bob Livingston rolls into Olive Street May 20 with a brand new album Up the Flatland Stairs. Bob helped create progressive country music and was donned the original “Cosmic Cowboy.” An original founder of the Lost Gonzo Band, he has toured without stop for 47 years, and is one of the most experienced and world traveled musicians in all of Texas music. His  last CD, Gypsy Alibi, released in 2011, won the "Album of the Year" at the Texas Music Awards. In January 2016, he was inducted into the Texas Music Legends Hall of Fame. Bob maintains a grueling touring schedule, appearing alongside friends like Jerry Jeff Walker, Michael Martin Murphey, Gary P. Nunn, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and other giants. His newest album offers up unexpected stylistic mixtures  of Western swing, standard radio country, retro rock, piano ballads, bluegrass, and rockabilly.
